Workforce Development
That Opens Doors
Our flagship 20-day workforce program equips youth ages 16–24 with financial literacy, career exploration, professional skills, and a personalized action plan for the future — whether that's college, a corporation, or a career in the trades.
More Than Job Training — A Life Launch
The 10X Better Workforce Development Program is a comprehensive 20-day experience that goes far beyond resume writing. Through interactive sessions, inspiring guest speakers, and hands-on activities, participants build a real foundation for long-term success.
Mentoring is integrated throughout — providing each participant with personalized guidance, helping them overcome barriers that too often derail young people with great potential, and supporting them in setting goals ambitious enough to change their lives.
From financial literacy to skilled trades to corporate careers, this program makes the full landscape of opportunity visible — and then gives youth the tools to walk into it with confidence.
Five Weeks. Five Transformations.
Each week builds on the last — taking participants from financial foundations to job-ready confidence, and culminating in a graduation that celebrates their growth.
Money Management & Financial Foundations
- Day 1 Basics of income, expenses, and financial goal-setting — building the mindset of a wealth-builder, not just a wage-earner.
- Day 2 Budgeting systems and saving strategies — practical tools participants can use immediately, including envelope budgeting and automated saving.
- Day 3 Credit, debt, and responsible financial management — understanding credit scores, interest rates, and how to avoid the debt traps that hold many families back.
Careers in High-Growth Sectors
- Days 4–5 Technology careers: exploring AI, coding, cybersecurity, and digital design. Guest speakers from the tech industry share career paths. Soft skills for tech environments.
- Day 6 Healthcare pathways: nursing, medical assisting, mental health careers, and public health. Role-play scenarios and discussions with healthcare professionals.
Civil Service, Corporate & Skilled Labor Careers
- Day 7 Public service careers: law enforcement, government administration, social services, and the military. Understanding how public service creates stability and community impact.
- Day 8 Corporate career tracks: finance, marketing, human resources, project management, and entrepreneurship. What it takes to succeed in a corporate environment.
- Day 9 Skilled trades spotlight: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, welding — live demonstrations, apprenticeship pathways, and conversations about earning potential. Trades are not plan B; they're a great plan A.
Soft Skills & Professional Preparation
- Day 10 Resume and cover letter writing: creating documents that stand out. Participants leave with a polished, professional resume ready for real applications.
- Day 11 Interview skills and professionalism: mock interviews, body language, how to answer tough questions, and how to present yourself with confidence.
- Day 12 Networking and job search strategies: using LinkedIn, informational interviews, job boards, and professional relationships to find opportunities others miss.
Final Projects, Action Plans & Graduation
- Days 13–15 Career research presentations: participants present findings on their chosen career pathways — demonstrating knowledge of education requirements, earning potential, and daily responsibilities.
- Days 16–18 Personalized career action plans: with mentor guidance, participants build individualized roadmaps — whether to college, a trade apprenticeship, or direct employment.
- Days 19–20 Final presentations and graduation ceremony: participants present their action plans to mentors, peers, and community partners. A celebration of growth and new beginnings.
